Monthly Menu Plan - November

Yep, you read that right - I made a monthly menu plan!

I figured instead of spending time each week to come up with our dinner menu, I'd take a little extra time and make a plan for the whole month. It really didn't take too much longer to do. I decided how many dishes of each type (beef, chicken, etc) we'd have throughout the month, so finding recipes was a little easier. We also have approx two "leftover" nights per week. And I think this will help me with grocery shopping and finding the best price on whatever we'll need, since I know the list weeks ahead of time.

So, without further ado, I give you our menu plan:

  1. I do this too! I also make my calendar of menus in pencil and can erase at will! :)

  2. Sounds good, I usually plan about 20 meals for a month and buy all the ingredients (except pershables) at once. I like the flexibilty it gives. We never need more than 20 with all the leftovers!
What do you serve the Onion Chicken with? Sounds yummy.

  4. Jessica - I almost always serve it with mashed potatoes! And then whatever veggie is in season - although I just froze several pounds of asparagus, so if we have any left by the time this gets made, I'll probably grill some of that....well, Seth will grill it. ;)
