(This isn't "typical" hash, but a version of it.)
Ingredients
1 lb hamburger
1 onion, diced
1 jalapeño, minced
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cup water
2-3 cups rice
1 cup Velveeta, cubed
Directions
In large pan, combine onion, jalapeño and hamburger. Cook until hamburger is browned. Add 2 cans diced tomatoes and 1 1/2 cups of water. Stir in approx 2-3 cups quick cooking rice and let stand 15 minutes or until rice has absorbed all the water. Mix in Velveeta and stir until melted.
(Seth likes his garnished with Tennessee Sunshine (a hot sauce) and I like mine with salt and pepper.)
