Easter was really different this year.
We watched our Kansas City church online and instead of having lunch and an egg hunt with family, we had lunch, an egg hunt, and swimming with our neighbors!
On Saturday all the kids went out to the circle to dye eggs together.
But before we went out to do that we did some special ones...we found an Angry Birds Easter eggs idea, so for those I blew out 10 eggs - 5 per kid - (and with the blown out eggs I whisked them, put each one in a silicone cupcake liner and stuck them in the freezer. So when I'm ready to use 10 eggs, I just have to let them thaw.) The kids then painted them in Angry Bird colors....we still need to glue on the angry bird faces, though.

New traditions = New memories :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see a picture of the finished eggs. I bet that was fun!
