Fall Craftiness

I finally made time for crafts!
And I decided on Fall decor rather than Halloween.
It won't scare the kids and I can leave it up through December without looking tacky.

I've been wanting to make the following wreath for, oh, about a year!
No joke.
Here's the tutorial.
Although, I did mine a little different...if you know me, you know I use what I have on hand if at all possible!
I used my vine wreath (that I made myself) as my wreath form, rather than a wire one, but the same simple premise still applies.

I also made some cute pumpkins!
Again, the tutorial is incredibly simple. And you can see it here.
And again, I did mine a little differently.
Instead of using toilet paper rolls as my base, I used tin cans from mushrooms and tomato sauce and wrapped them in bubble wrap!
We've had too many toilet paper emergencies recently for me to chance using some for crafts!

I also took a little extra time and curled my ribbon so it looked a little more like pumpkin vines.
You can read how to do that here.

  1. LOVE them!! I really love the wreath! So very cute!

  2. These are so cute! I really love the wreath :)

  3. These are so stinking cute!!!! I probably wouldn't have wanted to give up some of my toilet paper either. What a smart swap out you did.

  4. So cute! Love how they are made of cloth.

  5. Love them all. Super cute. off to check out the tutorial because I am in the crafting mood too

  6. Super cute! I love the pumpkins : )

  7. oh... i just love your fabric pumpkins :)

  8. I absolutely love your wreath! I've never found such a simple tutorial for that before (I'm severely lacking in crafty skills!) so I really am glad you put that up. You've inspired me to get busy and work at it.... after I get through this 1000 mile move we're preparing for...

Thanks for taking time to leave a comment!
