Like a Good Neighbor

Nothing beats hand delivered thank-you brownies topped with powdered sugar!

(Mmmm...they were even better than they looked!!)

I have our neighbor to thank for these...

Her youngest son came home from school and was locked out of their house, so he came over to ours to use the phone to call his mom.

But that was it.
Nothing extraordinary or above and beyond.

Just simple, neighborly kindness.

And they returned it ten fold.

:)

Kind of makes you all warm and fuzzy doesn't it?!

  1. Those look so yummy...it's too early for that kinda deliciousness to be tempting me.

  2. That is sweet of your neighbour! I just ate two BIG chocolate chip cookies, and it is still morning! But yours was the second 'sweet' post I've seen today and I couldn't resist.

  3. Yummm... those look SO good! Perfect photo! I love, love, LOVE the bokeh in the background. For some reason, it reminds me of Christmas. Or at least winter. :)

  4. Those do look delicious and how kind of your neighbor to fix them for you. A little surprise like that just makes you want to reach out and help more often!

  5. What a sweet neighbor. I'd have to say, mine would do... well one of them. All the others I NEVER see... seriously. How do they get in and out of their house and I never see them. Weird.

  8. Yummy! So sweet of your neighbor. I remember when people used to be friends with their neighbors, they looked out for each other. We moved into a neighborhood one time that no one wanted to be friendly, we left shortly after : )
    What a great blessing!
