This first shot was very much inspired by Karli's shot of colored pencils. (The very last shot in the set) I just love the way she utilized all the negative space!
I'm not really lovin' the flower in this shot, but there's some yummy bokeh goin' on in the back!
I like all your rose photos from the past couple days. I may soon copy your idea of buying some just to practice photographing them. Outdoors, there always seems to be a breeze when I have the camera and be dead still when I don't.
beautiful beautiful beautiful!! i LOVE what you've done w the negative spaces, and ANYTHING w bokeh is amazing in my eyes!! :) thanks for stopping by...
Awww...you're so sweet to mention my colored pencils! LOL! :-) I have to say, these rose pictures blow the colored pencils out of the water! Absolutely fantastic; the composition of the first one is glorious. I took some rose pictures a week or so ago, and I MUST go back and see if I can do that to any of mine. Wonderful!
Beautiful. Do you use a tripod for those close shots?
ReplyDeleteSheri - Thanks! I just hold my camera...because I don't have a tripod. :(
ReplyDeleteI learned a new term today--negative space. I like the first shot the best but all our gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove the first one and the second to last!
