Walgreens $100 Challenge - Week 9, Trip 1

Not much to get excited about this week, except free toothbrushes or floss. But, I had a $4RR that expired today, so I had to use it. I started today with $10 in RRs.

2/28/10

I got the following for $0.21 + tax.

(2) Reach Floss, 55 yds
Price: $1.79 each, $3.58 total
Mfg Coupon: (2) $1.00/1, IP coupons
Store Coupon: -$1.60 (in-ad to make them $0.99 each)
Final Price: -$0.02 total
RR Earned: none

Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste, 4oz
Price: $2.99, on sale
Mfg Coupon: -$0.75/1, IP coupon (from Colgate.com)
Store Coupon: none
Final Price: $2.24

(this particular pack had a code in it for 10 free song downloads!)

Mfg Coupon: -$4.00/1, insert coupon
Store Coupon: none
Final Price: $4.99
RR Earned: $3.00

(3) Easter tumblers
(these were because I needed 3 fillers - your mfg. coupon to item ratio must be 1:1 and RRs count as mfg coupons.)
Price: 3/$1.00
Mfg Coupon: none
Store Coupon: none
Final Price: $1.00
RR Earned: none

RRs Used: $4 from Venus, $2 from Excedrin, $2 from Goodie

Sub-total before coupons: $16.56
Sub-total after coupons: $0.21
Sales Tax: $1.20
Savings Percentage*: 99%
*(Note: Savings percentages are calculated prior to tax. There is nothing I can do to decrease my tax amount, and that is why it is not factored in.)

RRs in hand: (1)$2.00RR from Colgate, (1) $3.00RR from Schick Intuition, and (1) $2.00RR from Excedrin.

Main In Rebates on their way: $7.64 from Schick, $15.00 from Olay.
