Walgreens $100 Challenge - Week 1, Trip 1

Since I shop at Walgreens a lot (although much less than I used to) I thought it'd be fun to see just how much you can get for $100, when you combine coupons with sales and Register Rewards!

I'm going to document everything I buy, what the prices were, which coupons I used, etc. I'm hoping to make it a full year before I hit the $100 mark!

And, just so you know, I'm starting this challenge with no RRs or gift cards. Nor do I buy or trade for multiple coupons...just one set of inserts and my computer!

(Note: I used to trade for coupons before Rowan was born, but now it just takes more time than I am willing to spend on it.)

January 1st and 2nd, I didn't do any shopping, so this first week is January 3rd - 9th.
I preview the ads early over at Hot Coupon World's Walgreens forum. This helps a ton when preparing your shopping list and coupons!

I too have heard you can save a bundle at Walgreens. I have one not far from my house. Perhaps I will have to go take a gander this week.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. That is a pretty good deal. I love Walgreens too - and CVS!

There is no reason to pay so much more when you don't have to. :)

    Great job!
