Our afternoon snack today was apples!
(they were on sale - $2.50 for a 3lb bag)
A big thanks to my Mom for giving us their apple peeler/corer/slicer - amazing how much time and effort it saves me!
Since the weather was nice and Fall-ish, we sat on our deck and enjoyed the drippy, sticky apples in the cool breeze.
as an added plus, the P/C/S slices the apples into cool ringlets!
Oh, and our neighbor's dog was out, too.
(the fence is 6 feet tall, by the way)
and on a side note:
I have to admit, it pained me to throw those apple cores and peels away!
But after last year's obsession, I don't need any more jelly.
