Open House

Today we had our open house from 1-4pm.

The first couple (empty-nesters) came a little early - about 12:45, which was perfectly fine with us!

The second people (young family with twin babies) got here about 20 minutes after the first ones left.

We were off to a good start!

Then we waited...

and waited...

and waited.

Finally, an hour later - around 2:30pm - the third and final couple came. (they are in a contract for another house, but weren't feeling too great about it)

So, three people in 3 hours. And only one had any promise. It was not looking good.

Then at 6pm (two hours after the open house ended) we were outside because Seth was packing the car to head back to KC for the week, and a truck pulls up and asks when our next open house is! So, we tell them to come on in and they really seemed to like the house, it's in their price range, they live close to here and rent but that house is being sold and the owner wants more than they are wanting to spend and so on. SO, there's maybe some promise and we can only pray that something happens with them!

It may seem like a drought but HE will provide. The markets in a lot of the country are very slow right now. We were fortunate that the market here in LA has not gotten that bad at least for that size home. He will bring the right buyer in HIS timing not ours.

All that to say, I hope it is sooner than later for you.
