My Walgreens Deals (1/28)

Transaction 1:
$2.99 Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste
(I only did one per transaction, as this is what triggers the $2RR)

Coupons Used:
$1/1 Colgate Max Fresh

Transaction 2:
$2.99 Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste
$9.08 ($4.79, $4.29) Hershey's Bliss bag candy (these should have rung up at $4 each)
$6.76 (4 x $1.69) Reynolds Wrap 20 sq ft
$9.99 Revlon Matte blush (FAR item)

Coupons Used:
$1/1 Colgate Max Fresh
(2) $3.99 Hershey's Bliss (Free product Q)
$0.50 IVC Hershey's Bliss (it should have taken off $1 for the 2 bags)
$3.20 in-ad Q Reynolds Wrap
$4.00 (4 x $1/1) Reynolds Wrap mfg Q
$1/1 Revlon

Total Before Coupons:
Total After Coupons: $13.13
Tax: $2.09
Paid with gift card: $15.22

Got/Getting back: (2)$2RR, $10.99 in ESRs

Savings of 93%!!! :D

(since I count my RRs as coupons for future transactions, I only factored in the rebates for my savings percentage...and I don't factor in the tax since I have zero control over that!)

Katie, could you break your savings down a bit more clearly, such as what was on sale, what coupons you used, and what RR/ESR you got on which items, so that your readers can learn the system to get deals like you or replicate them? Thanks!

  2. Thanks for sharing.
