Sooooo, I may have "purchased" (it was all free after coupons!) a few too many containers of sour cream. 20 8oz containers to be exact. We normally don't use the stuff....and now all 20 tubs will expire in one month. And sour cream doesn't freeze. That's a LOT of sour cream to consume in the near future! I've done some digging around the 'net and found a few yummy sounding recipes to try and thought that I'd share my findings!
Dips
BLT Dip
Seven Layer Dip
Artichoke Spinach Dip
Corn Dip
Breads
Blueberry Cream Muffins
Cranberry Muffins
Banana Sour Cream Bread
Sweet Corn Bread
Main Dishes
Eileens Meatloaf
Chicken Stuffed Chiles
Tater Tot Casserole
...and whatever we have left over after making some of these will be used for sour cream cookies and frozen!
Do you have a good recipe that uses sour cream as an important ingredient? (not as a garnish)
Please, share! :)
