Here are a few shots from our last visit to the farmstead...
This cow was pretty cute!
And weird.
I guess no one had explained to him the real meaning of "cowlick".
There are a ton of old tractors on which the kids can play.
And cow bells to ring.
My kids used sticks to enhance their cow bell playing.
And then there are the small pedal tractors.
Most are broken in one way or another, but fun nonetheless!
Next to the pedal tractors are the baby goats.
You can bottle feed these goats for a few bucks.
Or you can go into the pen to pet them all for free! ;)
Admission is free, and I always forget to bring money inside with us.
After showing this one who was boss, Rowan tried to feed it a rock.
I'm hoping this kind of behavior doesn't carry over to the playground.
A little further into the farm, there's a fun slide area.
It spits kids out a little fast if they're not ready for it.
We saw a lot of animals too.
Piglets
Ducks
Turkeys
and bunnies, to name a few.
There's a sign on the bunny's fence that says to not reach in and pet them.
Good thing they placed a handful of benches up against this short fence, enticing monkey-like two year olds to climb in.

Looks like so much fun! I love the cow and bunny picture!
ReplyDeleteI want to go to the farm - these pictures look like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place to go! I love your pig picture. HA!!!! Rowan's hair looks like my Victoria's in the back. She always has this little messy spot. And that turkey...ugly as sin. Good thing it doesn't look like that when I try to eat him. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
