I know, I know.
This is not terribly great, but I posted it anyway because it's better than the other ones I took!
Yes, it's
waaay overexposed. I tried my best to tweek it with my state-of-the-art Picasa 3 editor, and while not a "framer", it's good enough for me.

Katie - I think this is a wonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteFirst thing I saw when it was opening...WOW over exposed water...hhmmm.
ReplyDeleteBut at least you KNOW, as some will post this and think it's great! :)
What a cool place to photograph...where is that? Close enough for your to walk to?
ReplyDeleteKristal - Thanks! ...You're too sweet!
ReplyDeleteTracy - I'm determined to get a good water shot! ...I think it'll happen when I don't have one child sprinting one way and the other climbing rocks right behind the "don't climb on the rocks" sign!
Mimi - It's at the Overland Park Arboretum, which is a very short drive, but would be a very long walk! :) I have a post about it coming up on Friday, I think.
Actually, I think the water has great 'movement' in this shot. I always try get that movement in water but never seem to get the crisp/blur ratio right.
ReplyDeleteOverexposed or not, I think it is very pretty! I have a waterfall shot that I took where the water is smooth like this too. Those rocks are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is a little bright but I love waterfall shots.
ReplyDeleteHow georgeous! I love waterfalls!
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it's really pretty!
