Works For Me Wednesday: How to Get Dry Erase Marker Off Walls

(click the logo above to see more great tips!)

If you have a dry erase board and young children, then you probably also have dry erase marker on your walls! That's not good! But, there's good news - sanitizing wipes (the kind with alcohol - or you could just use rubbing alcohol, I imagine) will remove it!! But rub gently - it can take paint off of walls, too.

You can also use these wipes to clean up the dry erase board - you know how there are still marks left sometimes after erasing? These wipes will take them off. And as another bonus, use the same wipes to make your chalkboard shine like new! :)

Hope that helps - It worked for me!

  1. PERFECT timimg, girl! DD got an art easel desk set for Christmas which includes the dry erase markers. Lo and Behold, we know have DE Markers marks on our walls and OUR MICROFIBER COUCH!! :-O I've been going crazy trying to figure out how to get rid of both. Thanks for the tip on the one. Any idea on the other? LOL!
