I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project! For this year long project I will be posting an image a day, to get me out shooting, using my camera and learning new things with it daily. Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer. We have teens to adults, male and female, as well as people from all over the world. Come join the fun!

As you are well aware, I participated in the 2009 365 Project and loved it! I used a Sony Cyber Shot, which is a simple point and shoot camera, and was amazed at what I was able to do with it! I never would have known the capabilities of my camera (or myself!) had I not participated.
But the best thing about The 365 Project had nothing to do with photography - it had to do with friendship. I've met some amazing women through this project and although we've not met in person (I'm hoping one day we will!) I consider them much more than mere blogger-acquaintances - I can honestly say they are friends!

For 2010, I've upgraded my camera!
My Christmas/Anniversary/Valentine's/Birthday present is a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera with a real lens!!! (ya know, the kind you can take off the camera!) I'm so excited for this new year and certainly urge you to think about joining up! You won't be disappointed if you do!
This sounds like fun! I think I'll go check it out... I'm hoping that Santa will be bringing me a new camera for Christmas lol.
