Granny Squares Blanket: Halfway There!

I'm halfway done with the blanket!
Not to be braggy, but I'm very pleased with my first attempt at crocheting.

I'm using this join-as-you-go method to join all the squares and it is amazingly simple!
The dreaded sewing in of the ends has turned out to be a nice break from the joining and hook. And I'm keeping all those little bits of yarn for some yet-to-be-determined craft to do with the kids.

Just 5 more rows and some kind of ruffly boarder and this blanket will be done. I have a strong feeling it will be completely finished by the end of November. :)

...stay tuned!

  1. It's looking really good! I love crocheting. I don't get much time to do it anymore, but it's nice to relax on the couch with a project. It's even better in the winter when your project can keep you warm as you work on it. =)
