Works for Me Wednesday!

First: it's been a WHILE since I've done a WFMW post....mainly because nothing has been working for me lately! :)
Second: I don't know why I couldn't think of this on my own! (It comes to you courtesy of Grandma Taylor!)

Better Way to Prepare Chicken Nuggets

(of the frozen, prepackaged variety!)

Instead of "cooking" (aka: heating up) those prepackaged frozen chicken nuggets in the microwave or oven, heat them in a skillet on the stovetop!! They turn out much crispier than the microwave and are moister than from the oven! Cook for about 4 minutes on each side on medium heat! (give or take a few minutes)

(a note: all of the packaging that I've seen only offers directions for microwave or mention of the stovetop!)

For many, many, many more tips, go to Works for me Wednesday at Rocks In My Dryer!

  1. Great tip! I'll try it! My family loves chicken nuggets and I like the idea of not having to heat up the oven for them! Thanks

  2. That is a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
